There are two types of tickets. The initial tickets are pre-released to young people on our programmes. If you are not on a programme, then you can add yourself to the waiting list where tickets are released in phases. Please note that there are a limited number of tickets to each workshop. If you’d like more than one ticket to be released to you, then add yourself multiple times to the waiting list eg. for two tickets, please add yourself to the waiting list twice.

The first set of tickets are released to programme programmes ie. parents that have pre-booked their tickets via one of our programmes. After this, all tickets will be released in phases to parents on the waiting list who are not registered on any of our programmes. Preference will be given to young people who’ve completed the pre-attendance questionnaire and have not recently attended any of our workshops. Where possible we try to ensure that young people who missed out on previous events are prioritised for future events.

It is not always possible to release tickets to everyone on our waiting list. If you are unable to secure a ticket to one of our workshops, please note that there we run many enrichment workshops throughout the year which you can sign up to. Alternatively, you may choose to sign up for a programme where you can pre-book your attendance to a series of workshops. There are also many enrichment workshops taking place around London throughout the year and you can find out about them through our weekly newsletter for parents called ‘In the know’. You can follow this link to sign up!

Our workshops are usually limited to approximately 30 attendees. This is mostly due to the size of venues but also to ensure the event staff and attendee ratio is balanced for a high-quality experience. For the time being our workshops will remain at this capacity and we will continue to run a few larger events where we can meet with 60-90 young people along with their parents. We are a small but growing charity and we hope to increase our capacity and run more workshops in the future.

Final attendee numbers are confirmed 48hrs before the event so that we can prepare and make the final lunch arrangements if necessary. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to allow you to attend the workshop if you don’t have a printed or electronic ticket to present.

By signing up for a programme, you will be able to secure tickets to a series of workshops. If you’re already signed up to one of our programmes, please ensure that you book your ticket at least 3 working days before each event using the promotional discount code that will be emailed to you.

If you’re not part of the programme but would like guaranteed access to our workshops you can register your interest here and one of our team members will get in touch with more information.

Yes. All our volunteers and workshop facilitators have a valid Enhanced DBS certificate and adhere to our safeguarding policies and procedures.

We have different types of workshops, some are focussed on young people and some workshops, like our very popular annual Careers Day, is open to parents and young people.

Signing up to our weekly parent newsletter, is a great way to stay up to date with upcoming GT scholars workshops and other opportunities for young people aged 11-18. Please follow this link to sign up!

We sometimes ask for a security deposit to secure your booking. This is to reduce and prevent the number of ‘no-shows’ as this ends up being very costly. If you’ve attended an event that requires a deposit, we will refund your deposit in full after attendance. The refund will be made via the card you’ve made payment with.

It depends on the workshop or course you have signed up to. Many of our workshops and courses are free depending on the funder or sponsor. The actual cost of running a full day workshop in Central London can cost anything from about £70-£120 per day per child including lunch. However, with support from our funders and partners, we are able to host a large proportion of our workshops at a reduced fee and or entirely free of charge, please check the details on Eventbrite to see if there are any fees or deposits required for the workshop you are interested in.

All tickets need to be purchased or booked on the website or via Eventbrite prior to the event. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to allow you to attend the workshop if you don’t have a printed or electronic ticket to present.

Once a waiting list ticket has been released, you’ll have 24 hrs to book your ticket. If the ticket released to you has expired and you were unable to book your ticket in time, please get in touch with us. We can’t guarantee that we will be able to re-release a ticket to you as someone else may have already booked that place. However, it is still worth getting in touch as we may be able to sort out another place for you.

Our free events usually require a security deposit that can be paid via the Eventbrite payment platform. Your deposit will be refunded to you after you’ve attended the event. Refunds are processed through Eventbrite and will use the same card details that you used to pay your deposit.

If you are no longer able to attend the event please cancel your booking via Eventbrite at least 72 hours before the event. We are unable to refund payments or deposits if cancellations are made within 72 hours of the event.

We know there are a lot of talented young people out there but would like to ask that you do not book a ticket for your child if he/she does not fall in the relevant age group. Our workshops and courses are designed and funded for young people up to the age of 18 and some workshops specifically state a minimum and maximum attendance age and year group. If in doubt, please feel free to get in touch.
