How often do you run holiday booster classes? What if we have holiday plans and cannot attend?
The holiday boosters run for a total of 3 weeks per year. These sessions happen during October half term (UK only), Spring/Easter break (UK & US), and the July-August Summer break (UK & US).
A: All Holiday Booster sessions are recorded and uploaded to the scholar’s learning hub, so all scholars can catch up or review complex topics at any time.

Is it too much work for a holiday?
Our sessions are only 75 minutes a day – This leaves the rest of the day free for family time and relaxation. These sessions are focused learning sessions where scholars inform their tutors of the topics that they would like to revisit. The sessions focus on “learning how to learn”, and there is often short homework given each day, with answers provided in the online learning hub. These sessions are about working in a strategic manner, which actually reduces term-time stress.

Are Holiday Booster Classes suitable for all age groups between 10 and 18?
Yes. We offer Booster Classes across the full 10–18 age range, with content tailored to each stage of academic development. Our UK 11+ Preparation classes are specifically designed for younger scholars aiming for grammar or independent school entry, while our US SATs & ACTs, as well as our UK GCSE & A-Level booster classes, target older scholars facing high-stakes exams. During the application process, we will confirm the most appropriate class level for your child based on their current year group and academic goals.

Does my child need to be enrolled on a GT Scholars programme to join a Holiday Booster Class?
Not necessarily. While current GT Scholars scholars receive priority booking, Holiday Booster Classes are open to motivated students who are not yet on one of our core programmes. It is also an excellent way for families who are considering GT Scholars, to experience our teaching quality and approach before committing to a full programme. If you’d like to sign up to our next set of Holiday Booster classes, you may apply online or get in touch with our admissions team.

Is my child guaranteed a space for the next holiday booster period?
Yes. If you are already on one of our small group tutoring programmes, your programme manager will contact you about 2-3 weeks before the holidays to check if you are available for the upcoming holiday booster classes. Priority will always be given to scholars that are already on our programmes. However, for new families that are looking to join our programmes, we recommend that you apply early and you contact us if you have any questions.

We’d like to join the upcoming holiday booster classes - how do we do this? What happens if we miss the deadline?
Please apply using our usual application process and tick the box for holiday booster class. If you are new to GT Scholars, or your child is joining holiday booster classes for a new subject, your child will need to complete an online assessment before their first tutoring session. We aim to match scholars with peers who are working towards similar grades, ensuring the pace is challenging but achievable.
Priority for Holiday Booster Classes is given to scholars on our programmes and places are typically allocated in advance. However, from time to time, additional spaces may become available due to changes in families’ schedules or holiday plans. If you miss the application deadline, we recommend getting in touch with our team, as we may still be able to accommodate your child.
