Volunteers and Friends of GT Scholars – We’re Back!

Hope you’ve had a brilliant summer?

It’s been really busy for us, preparing for the new academic year and welcoming new volunteers and new scholars!

This week we wanted to let you know about our new induction course for volunteers and a new video interview series that we’ll be launching this month.

New Induction course for volunteers

We’ve recently launched an online induction course for new volunteers. If you’ve completed your interview and you’ve been waiting to complete your induction, please let us know and we’ll give you access to try out the new online course!

Could you share your story with our scholars?

We’re launching a new video interview series with our scholars – conducting short interviews and webinars with graduates and professionals that work in careers similar to those that our scholars aspire to. The idea would be to find out more about you and how you got to where you are today. Please reply to let us know if you’d be interested in this!

GCSE results from our scholars

Our scholars have done so well this year! We’re still chasing up some grades but we’ll keep you posted with the overall results. If you have any specific questions about a young person that you mentored or tutored recently, please feel free to get in touch.

GT Scholars is a not-for-profit social enterprise and registered charity. Our after-school tutoring, mentoring and enrichment programmes are designed to help young people aged 11-18 achieve their academic and career aspirations. Contact us to find out how you can join us a volunteer tutor or mentor and make a difference in young people’s lives.
