Volunteers and Friends Of GT Scholars: Be on the Panel for our Parent and Pupil Information Session!

Hope you’re enjoying your weekend?

We’d like to thank the new volunteers who joined us at our Induction Session last Saturday. Thank you for giving up your time to take the first step to making a difference! We look forward to working with you over the next few months.

Parent and Pupil Information Session

On Wednesday 5th July, we are running an Information Session at St Cecelia’s school in Wandsworth for students at the school who are interested in joining the GT Scholars Programme. If you are able to help from 5.30pm to 6.45pm, we would really appreciate your support. The session involves sitting on a panel. We’ll give you some guidance to help you prepare for the session. We will also be providing light snacks and refreshment for everyone to enjoy.

Making it easier for you to join the induction session

We’re bringing back our face-to-face induction session which will take place during the week. Our next session will be on Monday 3rd July at Cannon Street in London. It’s a chance for you to meet the founder of the programme and find out much more about GT Scholars. If you can’t make it to this one, we have an Online Induction session on Saturday 22nd July. As usual, you’ll need to reserve your place online. We can’t wait to meet you there!

Could you connect us to groups of potential volunteers?

Are you part of a professional group or a university group that is just as passionate about making a difference as we are? We’d love for you to connect us to them. We’re happy to come and give short talks at various events and collaborate in other ways to reach more volunteers. Please feel free to share our newsletters, social media posts or encourage people in your network to get in touch using the online contact form.

GT Scholars is a not-for-profit social enterprise and registered charity. Our after-school tutoring, mentoring and enrichment programmes are designed to help young people aged 11-18 achieve their academic and career aspirations. Contact us to find out how you can join us a volunteer tutor or mentor and make a difference in young people’s lives.
