Volunteer With Us!

We’re always looking for volunteers that can mentor our scholars or provide one-to-one tutoring support in Maths or English up to GCSE. To join us as a Volunteer tutor, you must have a degree or equivalent qualification, or you must currently be studying towards a degree. You’ll also need to be available to tutor online for 1 hour a week. Watch the video below or contact us to find out more about our programmes and how you can get involved!

  • 1. Get in touch - Send your CV

    Send your CV via the online contact form on the website.

  • 2. Fill in the application form

    We’ll contact you for a telephone interview & you’ll need to fill in a short online form.

  • 3. Complete your training

    You’ll need to complete some training to understand more about your role and our safeguarding procedures.

  • 4. Get an Enhanced DBS Certificate

    You’ll need to compete an Enhanced DBS check before you can start volunteering.

The first step to volunteering with GT Scholars, is to send your CV and cover letter to us via the online contact form. Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to fill in the application, complete the training needed for your role and complete a DBS check.
