Meet your Host - Temi Kamson

Temi Kamson is the founder and Chief Executive of GT Scholars, a UK-based social enterprise that provides tutoring, mentoring and enrichment programmes to young people from a range of backgrounds.


Passionate about social mobility and diversity, Temi has a Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham. She started her career as an engineer and worked for a short time in Investment banking before deciding to pursue a PGCE in Mathematics Education at the University of Cambridge.


Temi taught in state and independent schools for a decade before moving into the world of project management and social entrepreneurship.



Meet our guest speakers from BRIT Insurance - Caroline Darker

Caroline has over 25 years of experience in executive, management and staff development in a number of industry sectors including retail, telecommunications and financial
services. She has utilised her broad experience and disciplines to assist organisations through change by designing and implementing successful initiatives that contribute to the bottom line as well as the retention and motivation of staff across all levels.

 At BRIT her team are responsible for all graduates, apprenticeships and internship programmes and they are using these as a vehicle to increase the diversity of teams at BRIT and the Lloyd’s market. In her role at BRIT, as Head of Talent Development, she has introduced a range of activities including cultural change programmes, executive education, leadership development and functional academies.

Wayne Page

Wayne is the custodian of the I&D strategic vision, at BRIT ensuring that the Group progresses against its I&D objectives. He provides expert advice and guidance across the Group on I&D matters, alongside developing and implementing strategic policies, practices and action plans.


He has a strong background in diversity, inclusion, wellbeing and belonging, having worked for the past five years in a range of roles to develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies. He has also undertaken various charitable positions including an I&D adviser role at Business In The Community.
