The holiday is here and gives us an opportunity to spend time with family, friends and special people before we welcome 2020. We’ve found some educational and inspiring activities for the whole family to enjoy at Museums in London this season.

Free Medical Gallery at the Science Museum
Combine your love for Maths, Science and History and visit the Science Museum for a journey throughout the ages of medicine. The museum has 5 fascinating galleries with interactive games and immersive experiences, including the world’s first MRI scanner and many other marvels for the family to enjoy. The gallery is found at the Science Museum, Exhibition Road, South Kensington, London. Entry to the museum is free and runs until 29 February 2020. For more information please follow the link.

A Beautiful Planet in 3D
There is another fantastic exhibition at the Science Museum for all Science and Space enthusiasts. This is an awe-inspiring experience that will captivate audiences of every age. The IMAX documentary gives viewers a unique look at Earth through images captured from space. This event takes place at the Science Museum, Exhibition Road, South Kensington, London. The programme runs throughout the month of December and January from 12.30pm. This is a priced event and tickets start from £9 and can be bought using the following link.

Fly a Spitfire MK16
Climb into the cockpit of the Spitfire MK16 and experience the thrill of flying while being firmly on the ground.  Learn all about the history of the aircraft and what it would have been like to fly across the skies during World War2. The exhibition is at the Royal Air Force Museum, Grahame Park Way, London and available daily from 11.15am to 4.15pm. Tickets are £10.00 per person, follow the link for more information.
