In The Know – International Women’s Day – Choose to challenge
Next week, the world will be celebrating International Women’s Day, and this year’s theme is Choose to Challenge. Women have made a tremendous impact over the years and have faced many challenges to achieve equality. To help raise awareness around opportunities for young girls in various careers that can help empower them, as well as to get them geared up for their future we’ve lined up a few opportunities that you can look into.

There’s still some time left for you to book your space at our free Online Careers Day. This not-to-be-missed event will kick off tomorrow, Saturday 27 February, and is open to parents and young people aged 13-18. Join us to learn more about career opportunities and hear from speakers and professionals from companies such as Bain & Company, Atkins Global, Goldman Sachs, and PWC. Join the International Women’s Day 2021: Women in Technology
University of Leeds Business School is hosting an online panel to Celebrate Women in Technology. The session is free to attend and will be held on Monday 8 March 2021. Their Panel of experts will be discussing their career journeys and how they have overcome challenges to be represented within the technology sector. Sign up for the Teen Girls Empowerment Conference
Rocking Ur Teens is hosting an online empowerment conference for young girls aged 13-15. The conference aims to inspire young girls to do great things and allows them to take part in inspiring workshops, and also understand the many opportunities potentially available to them.
