In The Know – Free Visual and Performing Arts Workshops!

The October half-term is over but that does not mean there aren’t any opportunities to have fun and learn new skills. We have found a few events for you to enjoy in the upcoming week. Some of these workshops include music, art, photography and coding to enhance those artistic skills that most young people have ingrained in them.

Made in LDN Apple Showcase
This is a special invitation from the Mayor of London to all young people that are connected to GT Scholars to join other like minded teens to showcase their talents in various forms of art in a series of free and exciting workshops hosted by Apple to celebrate Made in LDN as part of their National Youth Work Week 2019 celebrations. This is a great opportunity for young people to come and meet with experienced practitioners in the field of coding, art, music, design and many other areas of expertise. This event is free and will take place on Poland Street in London on Wednesday 6 November from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. For more information click here.

Young people will be introduced to special effects, graphic design, animation and video editing programmes that are used by huge brands such as Marvel, Photoshop and many others. The next free taster session will take place on 8 November from 4.30pm to 6pm at the Software Academy in London. Please follow this link for more information.
