We’ll be joined by finance expert Dineo Ledwaba-Chapman who will be running the webinar, discussing different ways in which you can plan ahead so you can be financially secure in your retirement years. Free resource – BAME Scholarships and Opportunities in the UK!
We’d like to share our latest free resource with you! The resource includes a total of 23 different scholarships, internships and work experience opportunities for young people of Black heritage or BAME backgrounds. The free download includes opportunities for young people under 18, as well as opportunities for young people between 18 and 25. The free download is on the website – simply visit this page.
VIRTUAL Black History Children Workshop: Nanny of the Maroons
Black History Studies has an online workshop for young people aged 8-16. This workshop will inspire young people to learn about great leaders and liberators who contributed to world history. On Sunday 18 October 2020, they will explore the life and legacy of Nanny of the Maroons. The workshop is interactive and will be held on Zoom. Tickets cost £5.00 and can be purchased here.
