Friends of GT Scholars – We’re taking on the Big Give Challenge for young people living in care!
TGIF! The weekend is about to start and I hope that you’ve got some exciting plans lined up despite the completely unpredictable weather! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be preparing for the Raising Aspirations Programme for young people living in care! Pledges for the Big Give Challenge
We’re raising money for the Raising Aspirations Programme 2019-2020, which will be helping young people living in care to overcome challenges they face and to improve their chances of getting into top universities and top apprenticeships. We’re aiming to raise £2500 before 30 August and so far we’ve secured £120 in pledges! If you’d like to pledge, please complete this short online form.
An interview with one of our amazing volunteer tutors – Janet Cheney

Is social mobility stagnating?
When you think about social mobility and how it affects us, a lot of issues comes to mind and a lot of solutions that could potentially address the challenges that need to be overcome. It is important to understand these issues and develop successful and sustainable strategies to address them.
