Did you know that today is Geek Pride Day?  You might have plans to celebrate the day or just look forward to some quiet time at home! But before we end the work week,  we would like to share a few things with you.

It was great seeing you!
We had a wonderful time at last week’s Volunteer Meetup. Thank you for joining us!  It was great to spend the evening with you and share the difference we are making. We also appreciate the feedback we’ve received. If you weren’t able to make it, we really hope you can make it to our next one! Please keep an eye on our newsletter for further details or click here to join our Meetup group.

Sponsorship from the Young Foundation!
We are pleased to share with you that GT Scholars recently received sponsorship from The Young Foundation. This makes it possible for us to reach out to more young people and increase our impact on their lives and on the community.  We are grateful to The Young Foundation who share our passion for education and for acknowledging the work we do. Read more about the difference we are making here.

The Value of Good Grades
We all know the importance of getting good grades at school and the important role it can play in shaping one’s future. Young people should be made aware of this from an early age. This blog post addresses this issue and can serve as a great conversation starter with your tutee or mentee.

GT Scholars is a not-for-profit social enterprise and registered charity. Our after-school tutoring, mentoring and enrichment programmes are designed to help young people aged 11-18 achieve their academic and career aspirations. Contact us to find out how you can join us a volunteer tutor or mentor and make a difference in young people’s lives.
